Hammock is a Rails plugin that eliminates redundant code in a very RESTful manner. It does this in lots in lots of different places, but in one manner: it encourages specification in place of implementation. Hammock enforces RESTful resource access by abstracting actions away from the controller in favour of a clean, model-like callback system. Hammock tackles the hard and soft sides of security at once with a scoping security system on your models. Specify who can verb what resources under what conditions once, and everything else - the actual security, link generation, index filtering - just happens. Hammock inspects your routes and resources to generate a routing tree for each resource. Parent resources in a nested route are handled transparently at every point - record retrieval, creation, and linking. It makes more sense when you see how it works though. There's a screencast coming soon.

Remote feature management for Cucumber.
Bumps extends {Cucumber}[http://cukes.info] by allowing you to pull feature content and push run results to and from a remote server. This means that your feature files no longer need to live with your steps and other code. This also means that you can publish the results of a Cucumber run to another system.
Bumps has been designed to work with {Bumpybot}[http://github.com/brentsnook/bumpybot] (a Google Wave robot) but it can be used with any server that meets the {push/pull contract}[http://wiki.github.com/brentsnook/bumps/push-pull-contract].
See the {wiki}[http://wiki.github.com/brentsnook/bumps] for more details.

Cartage provides a repeatable means to create a package for a server-side
application that can be used in deployment with a configuration tool like
Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt. The package is created with vendored
dependencies so that it can be deployed in environments with strict access
control rules and without requiring development tool presence on the target
server(s).
This is the last release of cartage. It's been a fun ride, but Docker-based
images are our future at Kinetic Commerce. There is one feature that remains
useful, the release-metadata output. We have created a new, more extensible
format for which we will be creating a gem to manage this. One example of the
implementation can be found at:
https://github.com/KineticCafe/release-metadata-ts
We will also be replacing `cartage-rack` with a new gem supporting this new
format.

Cassowary is an incremental constraint solving toolkit that efficiently
solves systems of linear equalities and inequalities. Constraints may be
either requirements or preferences. Client code specifies the constraints
to be maintained, and the solver updates the constrained variables to have
values that satisfy the constraints. Version 0.50 of the solving toolkit
adds support for a one-way finite domain subsolver.
This project is concerned with offering a ruby interface for the
original implementation of cassowary in C.

Chimera is an object mapper for Riak and Redis. The idea is to mix the advantages of Riak
(scalability, massive data storage) with Redis (atomicity, performance, data structures).
You should store the bulk of your data in Riak, and then use Redis data structures where
appropriate (for example, a counter or set of keys).
Internally, Chimera uses Redis for any indexes you define as well as some default indexes
that are automatically created. There's no built in sharding for Redis, but since it's
only being used for key storage and basic data elements you should be able to go a long
way with one Redis server (especially if you use the new Redis VM).
!! Chimera is alpha. It's not production tested and needs a better test suite. !!
!! It's also only tested in Ruby 1.9. !!
