PIK is a tool to switch between multiple versions of ruby on Windows. You have to tell it where your different ruby versions are located using 'pik add'. Then you can change to one by using 'pik switch'. It also has a "sort of" multiruby functionality in 'pik run'.

Color is a Ruby library to provide basic RGB, CMYK, HSL, and other colourspace
manipulation support to applications that require it. It also provides 152
named RGB colours (184 with spelling variations) that are commonly supported in
HTML, SVG, and X11 applications. A technique for generating monochromatic
contrasting palettes is also included.
The Color library performs purely mathematical manipulation of the colours
based on colour theory without reference to colour profiles (such as sRGB or
Adobe RGB). For most purposes, when working with RGB and HSL colour spaces,
this won't matter. Absolute colour spaces (like CIE L*a*b* and XYZ) and cannot
be reliably converted to relative colour spaces (like RGB) without colour
profiles.
Color 1.8 adds an alpha parameter to all <tt>#css_rgba</tt> calls, fixes a bug
exposed by new constant lookup semantics in Ruby 2, and ensures that
<tt>Color.equivalent?</tt> can only be called on Color instances.
Barring bugs introduced in this release, this (really) is the last version of
color that supports Ruby 1.8, so make sure that your gem specification is set
properly (to <tt>~> 1.8</tt>) if that matters for your application. This
version will no longer be supported one year after the release of color 2.0.

ZenTest provides 4 different tools: zentest, unit_diff, autotest, and
multiruby.
zentest scans your target and unit-test code and writes your missing
code based on simple naming rules, enabling XP at a much quicker pace.
zentest only works with Ruby and Minitest or Test::Unit. There is
enough evidence to show that this is still proving useful to users, so
it stays.
unit_diff is a command-line filter to diff expected results from
actual results and allow you to quickly see exactly what is wrong.
Do note that minitest 2.2+ provides an enhanced assert_equal obviating
the need for unit_diff
autotest is a continous testing facility meant to be used during
development. As soon as you save a file, autotest will run the
corresponding dependent tests.
multiruby runs anything you want on multiple versions of ruby. Great
for compatibility checking! Use multiruby_setup to manage your
installed versions.
*NOTE:* The next major release of zentest will not include autotest
(use minitest-autotest instead) and multiruby will use rbenv /
ruby-build for version management.

Inline allows you to write foreign code within your ruby code. It
automatically determines if the code in question has changed and
builds it only when necessary. The extensions are then automatically
loaded into the class/module that defines it.
You can even write extra builders that will allow you to write inlined
code in any language. Use Inline::C as a template and look at
Module#inline for the required API.

Clarity - a log search tool
By John Tajima & Tobi Lütke
Clarity is a Splunk like web interface for your server log files. It supports
searching (using grep) as well as trailing log files in realtime. It has been written
using the event based architecture based on EventMachine and so allows real-time search
of very large log files. If you hit the browser Stop button it will also kill
the grep / tail utility.
We wrote Clarity to allow our support staff to use a simple interface to look
through the various log files in our server farm. The application was such a
big success internally that we decided to release it as open source.

This is the MySQL API module for Ruby. It provides the same functions for Ruby
programs that the MySQL C API provides for C programs.
This package is offered as gem for easy installation using RubyGems. It wraps
unmodified tmtm's mysql-ruby extension into a proper gem.
Please note that tmtm (Tomita Mashahiro) has deprecated development of this
extension and only update it for bug fixes.

BlueCloth is a Ruby implementation of John Gruber's
Markdown[http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/], a text-to-HTML
conversion tool for web writers. To quote from the project page: Markdown
allows you to write using an easy-to-read, easy-to-write plain text format,
then convert it to structurally valid XHTML (or HTML).
It borrows a naming convention and several helpings of interface from
{Redcloth}[http://redcloth.org/], Why the Lucky Stiff's processor for a
similar text-to-HTML conversion syntax called
Textile[http://www.textism.com/tools/textile/].
BlueCloth 2 is a complete rewrite using David Parsons'
Discount[http://www.pell.portland.or.us/~orc/Code/discount/] library, a C
implementation of Markdown. I rewrote it using the extension for speed and
accuracy; the original BlueCloth was a straight port from the Perl version
that I wrote in a few days for my own use just to avoid having to shell out to
Markdown.pl, and it was quite buggy and slow. I apologize to all the good
people that sent me patches for it that were never released.
Note that the new gem is called 'bluecloth' and the old one 'BlueCloth'. If
you have both installed, you can ensure you're loading the new one with the
'gem' directive:
# Load the 2.0 version
gem 'bluecloth', '>= 2.0.0'
# Load the 1.0 version
gem 'BlueCloth'
require 'bluecloth'

Allows you to focus on a few tests with ease without having to use
command-line arguments. Good for tools like guard that don't have
enough brains to understand test output. Cf. minitest-autotest (an
example of a test runner with strong testing logic).
