+rdoc2md+ is a utility for converting Rdoc style documents into markdown. The primary
motivation is to make a Hoe gem project more github friendly. Hoe depends on a README.txt
file in Rdoc format. Github expects a README.md file to display nicely on the webpage.
This utility lets you make the .txt file the master and autogenerate the .md version
without Repeating Yourself.
Incidentally, if you are reading this on github, this README was produced by +rdoc2md+.
Kinda meta, eh?

RDocF95 is an improved RDoc for generation of documents of Fortran 90/95 programs. Differences to the original one are given below. <b>Enhancement of "parser/f95.rb"</b> :: The Fortran 90/95 parse script "parser/f95.rb" (In rdoc-f95, old name "parsers/parse_f95.rb" is used yet) is modified in order to parse almost all entities of the Fortran 90/95 Standard. <b>Addition of <tt>--ignore-case</tt> option </b> :: In the Fortran 90/95 Standard, upper case letters are not distinguished from lower case letters, although original RDoc produces case-dependently cross-references of Class and Methods. When this options is specified, upper cases are not distinguished from lower cases. <b>Cross-reference of file names</b> :: Cross-reference of file names is available as well as modules, subroutines, and so on. <b>Modification of <tt>--style</tt> option</b> :: Original RDoc can not treat relative path stylesheet. Application of this patch modifies this function. <b>Conversion of TeX formula into MathML</b>:: TeX formula can be converted into MathML format with --mathml option, if <b>MathML library for Ruby version 0.6b -- 0.8</b> is installed. This library is available from {Bottega of Hiraku (only JAPANESE)}[http://www.hinet.mydns.jp/~hiraku/]. See {RDocF95::Markup::ToXHtmlTexParser}[link:classes/RDocF95/Markup/ToXHtmlTexParser.html] about format. <b>*** Caution ***</b> Documents generated with "--mathml" option are not displayed correctly according to browser and/or its setting. We have been confirmed that documents generated with "--mathml" option are displayed correctly with {Mozilla Firefox}[http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/] and Internet Explorer (+ {MathPlayer}[http://www.dessci.com/en/products/mathplayer/]). See {MathML Software - Browsers}[http://www.w3.org/Math/Software/mathml_software_cat_browsers.html] for other browsers. Some formats of comments in HTML document are changed to improve the analysis features. See {parse_f95.rb}[link:files/lib/rdoc-f95/parsers/parse_f95_rb.html]

A(nother) HTML(5) generator for RDoc.
It uses {Twitter Bootstrap}[http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/] for the
pretty, doesn't take up valuable horizontal real estate space with indexes
and stuff, and has a QuickSilver-like incremental searching.

rdoc-spellcheck checks your documentation for spelling errors. File, class,
and method names are automatically excluded from the results and you can add
your own words to the default word list.

You don't have to wait until Ruby 2.0 to get (named|keyword) arguments support.
Arguments has been tested with Ruby 1.8.6 and ruby 1.9.1 and eventually will work with JRuby (if someone is interested in contributing, I guess is possible since merb-action-args works with JRuby)

Reactive is a desktop application framework that gives everything needed to create database-backed applications according to the Model-View-Control pattern of separation. Reactive is highly inspired and also uses code of Rails, the famous Web-Framework for ruby. In Reactive, the model is handled by what's called an object-relational mapping layer. Reactive doesn't impose any ORM, you may choose the one you like but Reactive defaults to Active Record. This means it has baked in support for it, without forcing you to use it. The view part is independant of Reactive, this means that the application has to choose a view provider and feed it into Reactive. This leads to complete freedom for the GUI part. View providers are packaged as gems, so that it is easy for the developer to choose and install them. Look for reactive_view_* to discover some view providers (at this early alpha stage, only reactive_view_wx is available) The controller is part of Reactive and is loosely coupled to the view. Simple convention set up the link.
