ActiveRecord::PostgreSQL::Expression
Adds expression to migrations for ActiveRecord PostgreSQL adapters.
Installation
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'activerecord-postgresql-expression'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install activerecord-postgresql-expression
Usage
bundle exec rails g migration CreatePosts
class CreatePosts < ActiveRecord::Migration
def change
create_table :posts do |t|
t.string :title
t.text :content
t.timestamps
end
add_index :posts, :content, using: :gin, expression: 'to_tsvector(\'english\'::regconfig, (content)::text)'
end
end
bundle exec rake db:migrate
create_table "posts", force: :cascade do |t|

end
