ANAF WebServices API [UNOFFICIAL]

Build

Unofficial Ruby client library for some of the Web API Services provided by Romanian ANAF.

ANAF is an acronym for "Agenția Națională de Administrare Fiscală" which translates to National Agency of Fiscal Administration.

You get the idea, ANAF is the Romanian governmental institution that makes sure everybody is paying their taxes.

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'anaf-web_services'

Install the gem and add to the application's Gemfile by executing:

bundle add anaf-web_services

If bundler is not being used to manage dependencies, install the gem by executing:

gem install anaf-web_services

Usage

Some terminology clarifications.

ANAF identifies companies by a number called CUI, again an acronym for "Cod Unic de Inregistrare/Identificare" = "Unique identification code"

The APIs operate based on this CUI number.

VAT Registry API

This API returns some information about the companies but is mainly focused on the VAT status of the company, if it's VAT liable or not.

For more details about the underlying API see the official documentation for the corresponding version, but it's only in Romanian.
