Cats To Adopt CLI Gem
A command line interface that lists cats available to adopt from NKLA (No Kill Los Angeles). The user can select a cat to learn more details about that cat.
Version 0.1.1 can be found at rubygems.org.
Installation
gem install cats_to_adopt_cli_gem
Usage
Run cats_to_adopt
after installing the gem.
Development
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup
to install dependencies. Then, run rake spec
to run the tests. Run bin/cats_to_adopt
to start the program. You can also run bin/console
for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
