Lapidary

Lapidary is a RubyGem project support tool.

Lapidary mainly supports:

RubyGem management and release based on Jeweler
RubyGem scaffold generation based on Jeweler
Behaviour driven development with RSpec
Continuous integration with Jenkins by providing:
- Source code analysis with Flog
- Code coverage analysis with RCov (SimpleCov)
- CI report with CI::Reporter

Lapidary should work identically on:

You can install lapidary by gem. gem install lapidary

$ lapidary mygem

$ rake spec

This task also measure the code coverage in Ruby 1.9.2/1.9.3.

$ rake spec:rcov

$ rake ci:setup:rspec spec

$ rake version:write MAJOR=0 MINOR=1 PATCH=0

$ rake version:bump:major

$ rake version:bump:minor

$ rake version:bump:patch

$ rake build

$ rake yard

$ rake rdoc

$ rake release

Rake tasks are based on Jeweler.

Check out the latest master to make sure the feature hasn't been implemented or the bug hasn't been fixed yet.
Check out the issue tracker to make sure someone already hasn't requested it and/or contributed it.
Fork the project.
Start a feature/bugfix branch.
Commit and push until you are happy with your contribution.
Make sure to add tests for it. This is important so I don't break it in a future version unintentionally.
Please try not to mess with the Rakefile, version, or history. If you want to have your own version, or is otherwise necessary, that is fine, but please isolate to its own commit so I can cherry-pick around it.
