Fork of OmniAuth YahooJp

This original gem isn't maintained anymore.

And Yahoo! JAPAN start rejecting UserInfo API access for many existing RPs.

This fork enables ID Token access w/o UserInfo API access.

In your config/initializers/omniauth.rb, specify userinfo_access: false.

Installation

gem 'nov-omniauth-yahoojp', require: 'omniauth-yahoojp'

Examples

provider :yahoojp, YJ_CLIENT_ID, YJ_CLIENT_SECRET,
         {
           scope: 'openid',
           userinfo_access: false
         }

Limitation

You cannot get any profile information (including email etc.) but only sub is available.

It won't be useful for RPs which want to let new users sign-up with Yahoo! JAPAN, but it's still useful for existing RPs which want to let exsiting users sign-in with Yahoo! JAPAN.
