NS-1

NS1 API Client

Based on and Forked from kitop/ns1-ruby

  1. Added few API calls (mainly QPS/Usage)
  2. Added yarddocs according to NS1 API

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'ns-1'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install ns-1

Usage

# Instantiate a client
client = NSOne::Client.new("your api key")

# ZONES

## Zone string can be: 'example.com.' or 'example.com'

# Get all active zones and basic zone configuration details for each.
client.zones

# Get a single active Zone and its basic configuration details.
client.zone("example.com")

# Create a new DNS zone
# For details on configuration options, see https://ns1.com/api#create-a-new-dns-zone
client.create_zone("yourdomain.com", { optional: :params })

# Modify basic details of a DNS zone

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. Then, run rake spec to run the tests. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
