OmniAuth 23AndMe
Unofficial OmniAuth strategy for 23andMe.
Usage
In your initializer:
Rails.application.config.middleware.use OmniAuth::Builder do
provider :twenty_three_and_me, {
ENV['23ANDME_KEY'],
ENV['23ANDME_SECRET'],
scope: 'basic genomes'
}
end
Or, if you're using Devise, in your Devise.setup
:
config.omniauth :twenty_three_and_me, {
ENV['23ANDME_KEY'],
ENV['23ANDME_SECRET'],
scope: 'basic genomes'
}
The 23andMe API requires setting scopes for accessing different sorts of data. The "basic" one doesn't get you very far, "genomes" gets you the whole thing. More on scopes here.
