PollTracker
Hello, this is the PollTracker gem. This gem will list the 25 most recent 2016 Presidential polls as compiled by the Huffington Post. You can choose anyone of these polls to see its results and more detailed information about it. Additionaly, it will show you the poll results from the average of more than 350 polls from 43 different pollsters. The list is updated daily through the election.
Installation
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'poll_tracker'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install poll_tracker
Usage
After you have successfully installed the gem, type 'poll_tracker' into the command line and press enter. Follow the instructions on the screen to see polls.
Development
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup
to install dependencies. Then, run rake spec
to run the tests. You can also run bin/console
for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
