Rspec-proxypac is an rspec plugin for easy proxy.pac testing.
Usage
RSpec-proxypac is best described by example. First, require rspec_proxypac
in your spec_helper.rb
:
# spec/spec_helper.rb
require 'rspec_proxypac'
Then, create a spec like this:
require 'spec_helper'
describe 'http://proxy.example.org/proxy.pac' do
it do
is_expected.to find_proxy('PROXY proxy.example.org:3128')
.for('http://www.example.com/')
end
it { is_expected.to find_proxy('DIRECT').for('http://www.example.org') }
end
Installation
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'rspec-proxypac'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install rspec-proxypac
