RtTop100
This gem explores Rotten Tomatoes' Top 100 Movies of All Time list. You can view the list in increments of 25, see more details about a movie, check out movies released after a certain year, and view the methodology behind the list. Who knows? Maybe you'll even find a new movie to watch this weekend. Happy viewing!
Installation
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'rt_top_100'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install rt_top_100
Usage
$ rt-top-100
Follow the prompts to indicate which portion of Rotten Tomatoes Top 100 Movies of All Time list you'd like to see. From within a list portion, you may choose a specific movie to see additional details. You can also use the main menu to view the methodology behind the list. Have fun exploring!
Development
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup
to install dependencies. Then, run rake spec
to run the tests. You can also run bin/console
for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
