Float and Integer will be converted to whole number, that is 0,1,2,3,4... , when you give a negative num, it will be 0. Also when you give 1.1 => 1 by Float#to_i

WholeNumber

Give a method to Float and Integer to_whole_num, that will convert number to 0,1,2,3,4,... .

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'whole_number'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install whole_number
